Victor Indigo November is a wine shop and tasting room in Gateshead’s Railway Quarter, just across the High Level Bridge from Newcastle. Opened in 2023 by Charlotte and Lorrie Fenwick, the shop specialises in wines, cheeses and charcuterie from France.

Born out of a love of French wines, we quit our day jobs to open Gateshead’s first wine destination. Our shop stocks a large range of wines from France and around the world, most of which you won’t find elsewhere in the North East.

As well as the shop, Victor Indigo November has a bar where you can choose from our ever-changing wine list – made up entirely of French wines. We offer around 20 wines by the glass, as well as wine flights – a great way to try a few different glasses, and perhaps discover a new favourite.
